Before I went all healthy, stopped eating meat, I made this recipe a few times. My DH was spoiled by his Mom and her cooking. We tried making this pie as the recipe is written…. It was the best! It has a lot of steps but it you follow them you will have a meat pie identical to Tripoli’s meat pie. Tripoli’s is still around but n ot in Lawrence, MA any longer.
