How to Deal with Inflation as a Prepper
Are you wondering how to deal with inflation as a prepper? Due to higher demand and the escalating prices of most everyday goods, our dollar isn’t stretching nearly as far as it once did. Yet prices continue to go up! As a result, the average American family is taking a huge hit in every aspect of their way of life. We’re spending more but walking out with far less on a single trip to the grocery store. What once filled up our gas tanks is now barely getting the needle to half full. Even eating out at a fast-food restaurant...
50 Times People Realized They Were Living With A ‘Monster’ And Just Had To Share The Evidence
You wake up and head to the bathroom. The door is locked, and your sister has just begun taking her 30-minute shower where she'll sing loudly for the whole house to hear and use up the last of the hot water. You go to eat some breakfast first instead. You pour a bowl full of cereal and open the fridge to grab some milk. Upon picking up the carton, however, you realize that there’s no more than a drop left in it. No problem, you had leftover pancakes too– Oh! Just kidding! Your sister ate those too and left a...
Slow Cooker BBQ Beef
There are probably thousands of recipes on the internet for slow cooker BBQ beef. So why another? Well, for my money this is the only recipe I need. It’s the ingredients of the sauce that make this worth the time and well, some trouble. Sure, I could fire up my smoker and cook a beef roast (just as good as brisket but cheaper) all day and I often do, but sometimes the slow cooker will do just fine too! Of course slow cooker BBQ beef is as tender as you’d expect. And juicy. And the sauce, oh the sauce. Like...
Meat & Veggie Rice Paper Dumplings
You really can’t go wrong with dumplings. The filling in these can be modified to your dietary needs and preferred taste. When I cook I tend to not use measurements, I like to cook based on taste. I will however try and give you a generalization of measurement to experiment with yourself! Happy cooking loves! Ingredients: Rice paper sheets drizzle of olive or avocado oil for pan 1 Lb of meat of choice ( I like ground chicken or pork, tofu and mushrooms work nicely as well) a handful of shredded carrots a handful of shredded cabbage (I grab the...
Beef Enchiladas
Above are my classic Tex-Mex gooey, cheesy beef enchiladas. They don’t always dip up so pretty with low-carb tortillas, but man, are they ever good!!! What they lack in appearance they sure make up for in flavor! It’s how I’ve made these things for over 40 years, other than the low-carb tortilla part. I can’t live without my regular fix of enchiladas, so I just HAD to come up with some kind of low-carb “corn” tortilla so that I could indulge in. They’re like enchiladas that have sat too long over a restaurant buffet warming tray and falling apart, but...
