We never need an excuse to make the trip to the Barossa! The award-winning wine region is a melting pot of tradition and evolution, bursting with incredible produce, exceptional products and skilled people. And best of all? This wonderland of great food, top wine and unforgettable experiences is just one hour from Adelaide!
When you want to embrace what’s on offer in the Barossa, we can’t go past this beautiful mix of old and new experiences…
WINE WONDERS
There’s a solid reason why the Barossa is on the lips of wine enthusiasts across the globe. There is old wine with some of the world’s oldest vines dating back to the 1840s — plus modern varieties and trailblazing producers ready to push boundaries to create dynamic drops — and everything in between.
If you’re after a historical sip, you can’t go past the Seppeltsfield Taste Your Birth Year Tour. The jewel in the crown of this iconic estate, the Centennial Cellar holds maturing single barrels of vintage Tawny for 100 years before they’re bottled. That’s a barrel of Tawny for every vintage dating back to 1878 — the longest lineage of single vintage wines in the world! A tour and a tasting direct from the barrel of the year you were born is a bucket list experience and a delicious taste of Australian winemaking history.

You can do a super tasty tasting in their Wine Room, indulge in their dining space, Essen, or pick one of their unique experiences. Whatever you choose, you’ll be buzzing with more info on Barossa wine that you can poke a stick at!
