Customer Brief
The Enlightenment Office (OEK) for eggs and meat wants to create a recipe book targeted towards students and young adults. The booklet will contain content about eggs a cheap commodity with infinite possibilities. The booklet should have a front and back cover, a preface, content repository, recipes and contact information. Please see the attachment for the text and images to use. You are not allowed to edit the text whatsoever, but you can select which images you prefer to use and which images suit the products best.
Recommended format: A5 (h210mm. x w: 148mm)
Procedure
Idea development and research (preparation):
- Research existing cookbooks and grid systems
- Explore typography, margins and color usage
- Design and layout sketches (use colour in the sketches), conceptual design, working drawings and presentation drawings
- Establish the books layout InDesign. (Remember to complete the layout grid/template that you have created yourself. Also make sure to use colour and typography consistently)
