TIPS FOR MAKING THIS FAST WEEKNIGHT MEAL THE BEST IT CAN BE

A good way to keep sliders warm at a party is by placing them into a slow cooker set to the warm setting.

Sliders can also be kept warm in the oven. Use the lowest temperature setting and keep the pan of sliders covered with foil so the don’t dry out.

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS ASKED ABOUT THIS RECIPE

WHICH TOOLS ARE HELPFUL FOR MAKING SLIDERS?

9 x 13 Baking Pans – You can use a metal 9×13 baking pan for this sliders, but I really prefer glass 9×13 baking pans for sliders. I love the 9×13 glass baking pans that come with a nice silicone lid that’s raised a bit so the contents don’t get smashed down.

Sometimes it’s convenient to use a pizza cutter for slicing sliders apart in order to make the task quicker.

Use a skinny spatula to lift the sliders out of the pan.

HOW MANY SLIDERS WILL SERVE EACH PERSON?

If you are serving sliders at a party with other side dishes and appetizers, I like to figure 1-2 sliders per person. Or, if you are serving sliders as a meal, its always a safe bet to figure 3 sliders per person.

CAN YOU FREEZE SLIDERS?

Yes, double the recipe and make two pans of sliders are once. That way you can freeze a pan of sliders for later. To bake, just thaw the sliders in the pan and bake as directed in the recipe card below, or until hot throughout.

HOW DO YOU CUSTOMIZE SLIDERS?

That’s the fun part about making sliders – they are easy to customize just by changing up the meat and cheese. You can use any type of deli meat, such as roast beef or pastrami, or even just use shredded leftover roast beef or rotisserie chicken. The meat just has to be fully cooked for making sliders.

When it comes to cheese, the sky is the limit, too. Use mozzarella, Swiss, Fontina, Parmesan, Colby Jack….whatever! It’s completely up to your taste buds and preferences.
