The games, puzzles, and gift specialists, University Games and The Lagoon Group have made two key appointments, expanding both its sales and marketing departments as the firm eyes continued growth.

The team has welcomed Victoria Reece (pictured left) to the position of marketing assistant as it looks to strategically develop the strength and depth in this department.

Marketing director, Gemma Lewington is delighted to have Victoria join the team at such a pivotal time for the business. She said: “Victoria is such a bright and enthusiastic individual and we are very excited to have her as part of our team.

“She comes to us from Viegli UK Ltd, where she was heavily involved with website development, asset creation as well as a wealth of campaign management across both B2C and B2B.”

Meanwhile, the team has bolstered its sales division with the appointment of Liz Price (pictured right) as its new territory manager for the Midlands and North England. Earmarked as a key and high performing geographic area for the business, the team believes it is placing it in capable hands as Price brings with her a wealth of specialist knowledge accumulated from over a decade of retail experience and six years in toys, games, and licensing.

Reporting to sales director, Mark Jones, Price will now be working across a portfolio of brands that include Subbuteo, Plasticine, The World of David Walliams, Horrible Histories, and Professor Rubik.

“University Games is innovative, forward thinking and passionate about what they do, I’m really enjoying being part of this dynamic team,” said Price.

Some of the ever-popular lines including Subbuteo, Smart Ass, Sort it Out, Kersplatt, What’s Up and Don’t Say it as well as Football Stadium and Harry Potter 3D puzzles.
