With 5 kids in our family, we’ve played a lot of board games over the years. While some games are suitable for the whole family, finding the best board games for 6-year-olds can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why I’ve scoured the Internet to put together this list of 35 games that would be enjoyable for a 6-year-old child.
Some kids prefer playing a card game or cooperative game while others enjoy more of a strategy game. I’ve also noticed that boys sometimes lean more towards certain types of fast-paced action games while girls may prefer character games or games that are cute or funny.
So whether you’re looking for a fun game for family game night with a 6-year-old or a great game for younger kids to play on their own or with older siblings, I hope this list of the best board games is helpful to you!
