What Day is Earth Day?

Ever since 1970, Earth Day has fallen on April 22. In case you’re wondering, like I was, why this particular date was chosen, I also have an answer for that! It’s because the date fell between colleges’ spring breaks and final exams. This was important, as the organizers wanted to encourage the participation of college students at Earth Day’s inception.
